UGR (Glare Rating)
Short definition
Unified Glare Rating measures how much a lighting layout causes discomfort glare. A lower value means less glare.
In detail
In offices and screen-based work areas, a target of UGR < 19 reduces eye strain and improves comfort. Low UGR also matters in education and healthcare buildings.
