This notice explains how personal data of visitors to tokludesign.com is processed, in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

2. What Data We Process

The following data may be processed when you use our site:

a) Data you provide directly (contact form, quote form, newsletter):

  • Name and surname
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Project details (space type, area, stage, budget range, message)
  • Files you upload (plans, drawings, photos)
  • Whether you are an architect/designer (optional)

b) Preferences stored in your browser (never sent to our servers):

  • Theme preference (dark/light)
  • Language preference
  • Your favourites list and quantities
  • Recent searches
  • Cookie preference

These are kept in your browser's local storage and deleted when you clear browser data. They do not reach us.

c) Analytics data (only with your cookie consent):

  • Pages visited, visit duration, referring source
  • Browser and device type, approximate location (city level)
  • Anonymised IP address

3. Why We Process It

  • To respond to your enquiries and quote requests
  • To prepare preliminary proposals, lighting calculations and fixture lists for your project
  • To manage your newsletter subscription (only if subscribed)
  • To improve the site and understand usage (only with consent)
  • To fulfil legal obligations

4. Legal Basis

Under Article 5 of KVKK (and Article 6 of GDPR where applicable): performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, our legitimate interests, and legal obligations. Analytics data is processed only with your explicit consent.

5. Who We Share It With

Your data is never sold. It is shared only with service providers necessary to deliver the service, to the extent required:

Form processing (Formspree, USA)
Contact and quote form submissions are delivered to us by email through this service.
Hosting (Vercel, USA)
The site is hosted on this infrastructure.
Analytics (Google Analytics, USA)
Only if you accept cookies.
WhatsApp (Meta)
If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, that communication is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

As these providers are located abroad, your data may be transferred internationally under Article 9 of KVKK.

6. Retention

  • Form data: until your enquiry is resolved and for legally required periods
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
  • Analytics data: maximum 14 months
  • Browser preferences: until you delete them (not held by us)

7. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK (and Articles 15–22 of GDPR where applicable), you have the right to: learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose, know the third parties it is transferred to, request correction, request deletion, object to automated decision-making, and claim compensation for damages.
